What is a trachten jacket for men?
It is a traditional alpine-style jacket, often called a Janker or a trachten blazer. Typical features are a stand collar or a small collar, often in a contrast colour, no lapels or very small ones, piping or braid along the edges, decorative buttons in a horn or metal look, patch or flap pockets, and a straight, hip-length body. Which cloth suits a trachten jacket?

Where does a trachten sample go wrong?

Trim wavy or uneven. Piping and braid need even tension along curves; check the corners.
