How to Read “Quicker” and “Express” MTM Claims Against an Honest Production Clock
Search results and supplier decks often promise “express,” “quick MTM,” or multi-day suits. Overseas custom shops still need a clock they can put in a vendor file. This page shows how to read those claims against an honest production clock. It does not match competitor day-counts, and it does not invent a faster Shi Yuan clock than we publish.
What we publish (unchanged)
MTM from 1 piece — individual client orders and trial pieces
Bulk from 50 pieces per style — private-label and core-style runs
Sample: 7–14 days
Production: 14–21 days
Both clocks count from the point measurements, cloth and construction are locked. Production days are not delivery days; shipping is separate and is confirmed in writing on WhatsApp +65 8013 8838.
If a page cannot say when the clock starts, treat the headline day-count as incomplete.
A reading grid for “express” language
Claim pattern Question to ask in writing Honest reading “X-day suit” with no start point When does day 1 begin? Incomplete until start is defined “Express MTM” without cloth lock Is cloth already at the plant? Cloth inbound time is often outside the boast “Same week bulk” Is this sample, production, or delivery? Three different clocks; ask which “Faster than everyone” Can they publish dual MOQ + start rule? Marketing superlatives are not a process Platform “quick order” badge Who cuts, who ships, who owns remakes? See factory-direct vs platform checks
Same table as a list
X-day suit, no start point: ask when day 1 begins.
Express MTM, no cloth lock: ask whether cloth is already at the plant.
Same week bulk: ask whether they mean sample, production or delivery.
Faster-than-everyone copy: ask for published MOQ + start rule instead.
Platform quick badge: ask who cuts, ships and owns remakes.

What we will not do on this page
Quote or “beat” another factory’s 3-day / 7-day style claims with a new number
Publish a rush tariff or secret express lane MOQ
Call production days a delivery date
Rush or prioritised slots, if ever discussed for a specific order, belong in written confirmation on WhatsApp +65 8013 8838 — not in a blog inventing a shorter public clock.
How a boutique should brief timing
State track: MTM from 1 or bulk from 50
State whether cloth is locked
Ask for written sample start and production start
Ask for shipping as a separate line (production ≠ delivery)
Keep the reply in the vendor file
FAQ
Do you offer a public express SKU with a shorter clock? We do not publish a shorter clock than sample 7–14 and production 14–21 after lock.
Why do other sites show fewer days? Ask them for start point, cloth state and whether the figure is delivery. Compare process, not headlines.
Can freight be expedited? Shipping options are confirmed per order in writing; they sit outside production days.
