Sample Suit Policy for Overseas Custom Tailor Shops

Shi Yuan Suit Factory recommends that overseas custom tailor shops, MTM boutiques, and private-label brands start with one sample suit before committing volume. This page states the verified sample facts we publish—no invented fees or fake guarantees.

Sample policy in one paragraph

Start with one made-to-measure sample. Sample lead time is 7–14 days after measurements and fabric are confirmed. Sample fee and shipping are quoted on WhatsApp before we start. When agreed in writing, the sample fee can be credited toward the first bulk order. Full policy lives on the site at /sample-policy.

It is not a walk-in retail fitting service for consumers shopping a lifestyle brand under our name. Your shop or brand is the customer-facing label.

What you confirm before we cut

1. Country and shop / brand type

2. Measurements or agreed size blocks

3. Fabric (your cloth or agreed program)

4. Construction preference: fused / half canvas / full canvas

5. Label and packaging direction if private label

6. Sample fee and shipping quote (WhatsApp, in writing)

Fit intent and revision rounds are agreed in writing before the sample is cut. Extra revision rounds after the sealed sample are quoted case by case.

After the sample

1. You review the sample

2. You approve a sealed sample in writing (or request a quoted revision)

3. Production follows: standard lead time 14–21 days after confirmation

4. Factory QC runs against the sealed sample and agreed construction

5. Third-party inspection can be arranged on request

Credit toward first bulk

Sample fee credit toward the first bulk order applies when agreed in writing. Do not assume automatic credit without that written agreement. Ask for the credit terms when the sample is quoted.

Many partners use the sample to decide whether to stay on MTM reorders or move to bulk.

Pricing note

Partner pricing is on request (ex-works). We do not publish dollar sample or CMT figures on the public site. Construction, fabric, and volume change the band. The WhatsApp quote states what is included before you pay.
