What a Sealed Sample Means for Overseas Custom Shops
At Shi Yuan Suit Factory, a sealed sample is the physical (or documented) make standard you approve in writing before bulk production. Sample lead time is 7–14 days after measurements and fabric are confirmed; production is 14–21 days after confirmation. MTM from 1; bulk OEM from 50. Sealed sample = the sample you accept as the reference for construction, fit intent, and workmanship for the following production run. Until you seal in writing, we treat feedback as revision discussion, not a green light to cut volume.
What sealing is not
Not an automatic lifetime freeze of every future style you might order
Not a promise of unlimited free remakes
Not a consumer “try-on until perfect” service
Not a substitute for clear measurements on MTM reorders
Extra revision rounds after seal are quoted case by case.
Typical path to seal
WhatsApp brief (country, shop type, MTM or bulk intent, construction)
Fabric confirmed (CSM arrived or program cloth agreed)
Sample cut and shipped: 7–14 days after measurements + fabric confirmation
You review on your form / dummy / client as your shop process requires
You send written seal (“approved as sealed sample for PO …”) or a written revision list
Bulk or repeat production: 14–21 days after confirmation against the sealed standard
Sample fee and shipping are quoted on WhatsApp. Credit toward first bulk: only when agreed in writing.
What factory QC checks against after seal
After you seal, factory QC references the sealed sample and the agreed construction (fused / half canvas / full canvas). Third-party inspection can be arranged on request and quoted separately—we do not invent certificate brands on this page.
Why overseas shops seal before bulk from 50
Bulk OEM from 50 multiplies any silent fit or make mismatch. Sealing reduces “we thought you meant…” disputes. Soft-launch capsules still benefit from one sealed unit before the 50-piece cut.

Say so. Options usually include:
