How Long a Sealed Sample Stays Valid Before Re-Approval
Shi Yuan Suit Factory treats a sealed sample as the make reference until you change it in writing—or until fabric, trim, or construction drift makes a re-approval necessary. MTM from 1; bulk OEM from 50; sample 7–14 days; production 14–21 days after confirmation. We serve overseas custom shops, MTM boutiques, and private-label brands—not C-end retail.

What “sealed” means operationally
Sealed means you (the decision owner) confirmed in writing that the sample’s make, construction, and agreed details are the standard for reorder or bulk. It is not a forever warranty against mill lot changes you introduce later.
Is there a calendar expiry?
We do not publish a fake universal “valid for X months” stamp on this page. Validity is conditional:
Same cloth article / agreed lot plan: New mill article or obvious shade/hand change
Same construction (fused / half / full canvas): Construction change
Same trims and labels: New buttons, lining, care text
Same size chart / grade rules: New grade or drop rules
Same decision owner on WhatsApp: New brand owner with no seal file
If many months pass and nobody retained photos, measures, and the seal message, ask us to confirm what is still on file before you assume a silent reorder.
Practical re-approval triggers
Ask for a fresh sample (or a written exception) when:
Fabric hand or shade differs from the sealed cloth
You change shoulder, canvas, or silhouette intent
Private-label hardware or care labels change
Size run grading changes after the first bulk
The only seal proof is a verbal memory—no WhatsApp/email trail
Production 14–21 days after confirmation still requires confirmation of the current scope—not only an old seal date.
Keeping a seal usable
Save seal message + photos + measure sheet
Name the sealed size and construction in one line
Note fabric identity (mill/article/colorway as you label it)
For bulk from 50, attach size qty and label pack to the same thread
Sample fee for a re-approval sample is quoted on WhatsApp. Credit toward bulk applies only when agreed in writing.
